Holiday Three Packs To Go!
It is time to shop for the holidays and stock those cellars! We are offering a holiday special on Sommelier selected three packs of wine to pair with our takeout program. Regardless of the tier that they fall into, these wines come from family owned craft producers and have been carefully selected to pair with our takeout cuisine this winter.

Beginner Tier..........................................................75.00 for three bottles
Think of the green slopes at your favorite mountain but forget about the bunny hill. These are fun, easy drinking and approachable wines made from varietals that lean towards the unusual and eclectic. Indigenous Italian, and Eastern European varietals tend to shine here, as well as a few new world oddities, my current favorite being a white Pinot Noir from Oregon. Most of these wines are bright and fresh, see minimal oak, and are ready to drink now or hopefully soon!
-
Intermediate Tier.................................................125.00 for three bottles
These wines are still approachable, just a tad steeper and bit more technical than the greens. We are still focused on varietals, but now we begin to explore more noble varietals that create wines of greater structure. These are new-world expressions of Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Tempranillo, as well as a few seasonal old-world gems from places like Chianti, Friuli or Beaujolais. Since these wines have a bit more structure, they can be cellared for a bit, but all are still ready to drink tonight.
-
Advanced Tier........................................................175.00 for three bottles
Black Diamond slopes: Steep and Technical, but also the most fun and rewarding with just a little bit of practice. Now we shift our focus from varietal expression, to the expression of time and place. These are terrior-driven, world class wines; noble varietals from specific villages and appellations, and all are balanced, structured and age worthy. Think Cabernet and Chardonnay from Napa and Sonoma, Village Bourgogne and Bordeaux wines, notable Sangiovese and Nebbiolo from Toscana and Piemonte, Tempranillo from Rioja and Ribera del Duero…all the beginnings of a great collection!
-
Double Diamond Tier..............................................250.00 for two botttles
Double Diamonds baby… these go straight down to the cellar! Premier Cru Bourgogne and Chablis, Grand Cru Bordeaux, Barolo, Barbaresco, Brunello, Vintage Grower Champagne; all single vineyard expressions that I search long and hard for every year. These wines are exceptional and require some patience in the cellar, 10-20 years before they reach their true potential, but they are well worth the wait and once you accumulate enough of them, every special occasion calls for one!
